What is the Awakened Mind?

The Awakened Mind is a specific state of Consciousness.

The Awakened Mind is a specific and special state of consciousness where deep insight, creativity, intuition, and clear thinking come together.
British physicist and consciousness researcher C. Maxwell Cade described the awakening of awareness as similar to waking from a dream — except in this case, we are awakening from our everyday perception of reality itself.

Maxwell Cade, a government physicist known for innovations in radar technology, expanded his scientific expertise into mind research. As a master hypnotist, Zen meditation teacher, and secretary of the British Society for Psychical Research, Cade understood that the brain, body, and all life forms are fundamentally made up of light frequencies.

In 1976, together with electronics engineer Geoffrey Blundell, Cade developed the Mind Mirror EEG — a groundbreaking brainwave monitoring device unlike anything else.
The Mind Mirror allowed Cade to record and analyze the brainwave patterns of thousands of individuals, including yogis, healers, meditation masters, and highly creative individuals.
His research led to the discovery of a common brainwave signature among these individuals: the Awakened Mind pattern.

Instead of focusing on pathology, like traditional EEG devices, the Mind Mirror was designed to measure optimal states of consciousness. Cade’s work laid the foundation for a new field: EEG-guided meditation and biofeedback for personal growth.
