Anna Wise and the Evolution of the Awakened Mind

The important role of Anna Wise

Anna Wise, a humanistic psychologist, worked closely with Cade and Blundell in London from 1973 to 1981. She later introduced the Mind Mirror to the United States and continued brainwave research at the renowned Esalen Institute in California.

Anna measured the brainwaves of a wide range of individuals — from artists and executives to scientists and inventors — while they were at the peak of their creative abilities.
Remarkably, no matter their profession or background, the same Awakened Mind pattern appeared.
This led Anna to conclude that the Awakened Mind is not tied to a specific discipline, but represents a universal optimal state available to anyone.

Anna described the Awakened Mind pattern as a symphony of brainwaves:

  • Beta waves for conscious thinking and focus

  • Alpha waves for relaxed creativity

  • Theta waves for deep meditation and subconscious insight

  • Delta waves for intuition and empathetic connection

Each brainwave frequency plays a role in a harmonious, integrated mind. The Mind Mirror can measure how closely an individual’s brainwave activity matches this ideal pattern.

The Awakened Mind Today

The legacy of Cade and Wise continues today. Awakened Mind Practitioners, trained through programs developed between 2001 and 2009, are expanding the field through their work with clients and research using the advanced Vilistus Mind Mirror 6 system.

With modern technology and a growing global community, Mind Mirror users are achieving personal transformation more quickly and effectively than ever before.

We invite you to be part of this movement to expand human consciousness.
Our mission is to reconnect individuals with the boundless creativity, wisdom, and inner peace that naturally flows from the meditative subconscious mind.
As more people awaken to this inner potential, they help illuminate and uplift the world around them.
